Andrew and You

A memory of mine is tied to yours

Like the very day I was pulled from the shore,

I met my brother in the sea

He opened my eyes and spoke to me

He told me that life is lonely

And that we are the lucky ones

We are bound to none-

But who we are and want to be

I’m not sure if that’s entirely true

“Andrew,

I am beholden to you like they are to me

But we can tie our rats together

We are the already free

We float in the same ocean

Our dreams will always be.
